• CHARGING AND CHECKING THE CHARGE: in the FIRST PHASE a pulsed current of 0.6 A max. is supplied, so as to prepare the battery with low voltage to receive a normal charge. Charging time from 15 minutes to max 2 hours (LED#2 flashes). In the SECOND PHASE the maintainer delivers a constant current of 0.6 A to the battery, up to a voltage of 14.2-14.5 V (LED#2 remains lit steadily). The THIRD PHASE includes a battery check circuit (LED#2 remains lit constantly)
• BATTERY MAINTENANCE: in this phase the maintenance charging periods and the voltage retention test alternate every half hour. Through this last process, the maintainer is able to verify whether the battery can remain above 12.4 V for the entire duration of the operation. (LED#3 remains lit), otherwise it returns to LED#2
• Full charge time of a discharged but undamaged battery is slightly less than 2x the Ah rating of the battery, so for a 12Ah battery it should take no more than 24 h to progress to phase 3 (for very discharged batteries it may take more hours)
