This item being a genuine (so expensive) Triumph/Mikuni petrol tap was identical that originally fitted to my 2002 Triumph Thunderbird 900 motorbike. The original item also used a 12mm thick spacer and seal between the tap and the underside of the petrol tank. These 2 items had to be re-used with the new petrol tap in order that the tap did not interfere with a perimeter lip protruding beneath the bottom of the the tank. The tap itself is working perfectly.
